Limestone
Limestones are sedimentary rocks that are composed of a set of fossils and fragments of quartz grains or beads of limestone.The white stones consist of a set of fossils and or limestone beads and stones are relatively soft and easy to work. Some types are designed for use inside or outside.
These limestones generally can not be polished and come in a honed finish.
The best known examples are the white limestone from France but there are also examples from Portugal, Turkey...
These stones can be used for flooring, fireplaces, statues...
